At Raising Cane’s, our dedication to supporting the local home team and hometown runs deep. So, when we had some world-class athletes join the ranks of their local Raising Cane’s before and after representing their hometown at the most prestigious athletic competition in the world, we had to give them a big hero’s welcome!
First up were the track and field power couple, Tara Davis-Woodhall and Hunter Woodhall, who clocked in for a different type of training at our Fayetteville, Arkansas, Restaurant on 1788 M.L.K. Jr. Boulevard.
Sand volleyball duo and Baton Rouge natives, Kristen Nuss and Taryn Kloth, bumped up the energy at the O.G. Raising Cane’s at 3313 Highland Road in Baton Rouge, Louisiana, and served up our craveable chicken finger combos in place of the match ball.
Women’s soccer standout Tierna Davidson made it back from France to kick it at our Global Flagship Restaurant at 1501 Broadway in New York City with our Crew and Caniacs.
Already a world-class swimmer and electrical engineer, Nic Fink added Cane’s Crewmember to his resume after he made a splash at his hometown Raising Cane’s at 11818 Webb Chapel Road in Dallas, Texas. World champ swimmer Katie Grimes also celebrated her homecoming by trading in her swim cap for a Cane’s hat at 3791 South Las Vegas Boulevard in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Each champion athlete made a point to spend time with their local fans by signing autographs, taking pictures, sharing stories and urging them to always pursue their passions – further highlighting the importance of remembering your roots.
From global stages to their hometown Raising Cane’s, these world-class champs have proved Community support can lead to incredible accomplishments.
