Florida’s Matthew Tkachuk Serves Up Chicken of Champs at Raising Cane’s

Just hours after celebrating a historic win, hockey champ Matthew Tkachuk traded out the biscuit for our craveable chicken finger meals in Pompano Beach, Florida.

The Cats craze continued on June 27th, where more than 2,500 Caniacs and Florida hockey fanatics alike eagerly awaited Tkachuk’s appearance at the Raising Cane’s on 2501 N Federal Hwy – some of which traveled from across the state have an opportunity to meet the champ.

On roughly three hours of sleep, Tkachuk suited up in Cane’s gear and took on the honorary Crewmember title. Behind the Front Counter and in the Drive Thru, he met diehard fans, signed autographs and served up our ONE LOVE to Pompano Beach. After his appearance, he lifted a replica trophy out the sunroof of his suburban for the cheering audience as he drove away.
