At Cane’s, giving back to Communities that support us is a huge part of what we do. Chicago has supported us for the last six years, and one of the ways we’ve supported the Community in return is through our recent partnership with Chance the Rapper, a prominent figure in Chicago with deep philanthropic roots, and his charity SocialWorks!
SocialWorks aims to empower youth in Chicago through the arts, education and civic engagement. With initiatives and programming focused on education, mental health, homelessness and performing and literary arts, SocialWorks is able to directly impact thousands of youths every year.
On September 12th, we joined Chance the Rapper for a surprise visit to Michele Clark Magnet High School, one of the schools he supports. In true Cane’s fashion, we brought our food truck along to add even more excitement to the not-so-average school day. We were thrilled to have Chance jump on board to help serve students our craveable chicken finger meals – bringing a whole new meaning to us serving the Community together! To celebrate the unforgettable event, we donated $100,000 to SocialWorks!
We had a blast partnering with Chance the Rapper and SocialWorks, and we can’t wait to continue building a legacy of impact in Chicago and every Community we serve!
