Raising Cane's new Connecticut opening

Serving Connecticut Caniacs with our First Restaurant in the Constitution State!

02.21.24

While Connecticut is called the “Constitution State,” the name may need to change to the “Chicken Finger State” now that Raising Cane’s – known for our craveable chicken finger meals – opened our doors to our very first Restaurant in the state in Enfield on Tuesday, February 13.

Located at 110 Elm Street, this Restaurant is right off I-91, which runs through the state and all the way up through Massachusetts, a prime location to serve lots of new Caniacs in the region. Nicknamed “The Shakers” (after the Enfield religious community famous for their hospitality), this location features a friendly Crew serving up Cane’s chicken fingers, freshly squeezed lemonade, buttery Texas toast – and, of course, our signature Cane’s Sauce – in a spacious dining room featuring decor and graphics representing the Enfield Community. In addition to dine-in and take-out options, Customers in a rush can order online or via the Cane’s mobile app to order ahead for a quick and easy pick-up.

To celebrate opening day, we hosted a variety of activities for the Community, including:

●      A live DJ playing music to entertain the crowd

●      A “Lucky 20” drawing that awarded 20 Customers (age 13 and older) Free Cane’s for a Year!

●      A Prize Wheel for guests with great Raising Cane’s “swag” giveaways

●      A commemorative T-shirt and a Free Box Combo on their return visit for our first 100 Customers

●      A ribbon cutting with representatives from the North Central Connecticut Chamber of Commerce, Mayor Ken Nelson, and members of the Town Council

●      A Raising Cane’s donation to Executive Director Kathleen Souvigney and Donations Manager Gaye Sgamboti of Enfield Food Shelf, an organization that works to ensure no Enfield family in need is without food assistance

“The people of Enfield are already excited to get their delicious Chicken Fingers, and we can’t wait to serve them up,” said Marcus Carter, Area Leader of Restaurants. “They’ve already been so welcoming to Cane’s as a new community staple!”
