Over $6,000 Donated to Mutts on a Mission from Raising Cane’s Plush Puppy Campaign Sales

The Raising Cane’s Plush Puppy Campaign is an iconic holiday tradition that we bring back each year to benefit local pet welfare organizations across the country. Our 2023 Holiday Plush Puppy Campaign featured Rockefeller Tree Cane and Countdown Cane, which were influenced by our recent entry into New York City, and they were a hit!
Specifically in the Phoenix metro – where seven of our Restaurants raised over $6,000 from the sale of our Holiday Plush Puppy to benefit Mutts on a Mission, a local therapy dog volunteer organization providing comfort and healing to the West Valley.
On February 28, Raising Cane’s presented the check to Mutts on a Mission at our Glendale Restaurant – located at 9232 W Glendale Ave – where even a few therapy dogs came along to help accept the donation.
The funds will be used to support their reading program called R.E.A.D (Reading Education Assistance Dogs), which gives children who struggle with reading the opportunity to read one-on-one to a Mutts on a Mission therapy dog without fear of judgement.
