Football Champs Celebrate Perfect Season with a Shift at Raising Cane’s Bloomington

After a historic, undefeated season and a national championship title, three college football stars traded in their helmets for headsets and clocked in at Raising Cane’s in Bloomington, Indiana – serving up Box Combos to the fans who cheered them on all season long.

Defensive standouts D’Angelo Ponds and Jamari Sharpe joined wide receiver Elijah Sarratt for a celebratory “shift” at the Raising Cane’s at 422 East Kirkwood Ave., just steps from Indiana University and the iconic Sample Gates. The visit marked a full-circle moment as the players returned to Bloomington to celebrate with the students and Community who helped power their unforgettable title run.

During their time behind the counter, the title-winning trio brought the same energy that fueled their championship season. Ponds, Sharpe and Sarratt greeted fans, posed for photos and took on the role of a Cane’s Crewmember — filling drinks, buttering toast, pumping Cane’s Sauce and bagging up Box Combos at championship speed for a line of Caniacs that stretched through the Restaurant.
