  • Raising Cane’s Opens Third Restaurant in Shreveport, La.

    SHREVEPORT, La. – (August 20, 2009) – Three is sure to be a crowd! That’s the idea as Raising Cane’s Chicken Fingers®, one of the fastest-growing restaurant chains in the U.S., celebrates the grand opening of its third restaurant in Shreveport, La. today to meet the market’s growing demand for the brand’s popular quality chicken finger meals.

    The doors open at 10:30 a.m. at the newest Raising Cane’s restaurant on 8998 Mansfield Road. This also marks the third restaurant that Raising Cane’s has opened in Louisiana in less than four weeks.

    “This has been an incredible summer, and growing in Shreveport is a great way to keep the excitement going,” said Ian Vaughn, chief operating officer of Raising Cane’s. “We have terrific customers in Shreveport who have paved the way for an even bigger presence. And this newest restaurant is the best way to show our ONE LOVE to a community that continues to embrace Raising Cane’s.     Matthew Snyder has been named general manager for the new Shreveport restaurant. The grand opening marks the 48th location for Raising Cane’s in the State of Louisiana and adds to the more than 80 restaurants across 13 states.

    The first Raising Cane’s restaurant, which opened on August 26, 1996 in Baton Rouge, was such a hit that customers crowded in for chicken fingers until 3:30 a.m.

    The new Shreveport restaurant will be open Sundays – Thursdays from 10:30 a.m. – 11 p.m. and Fridays and Saturdays from 10:30 a.m. – 1 a.m.
